DRIVING

From the East Bay

  • Take 80 to the Fremont St. Exit
  • Turn left on to Fremont St. Cross Market Street.
  • Turn left on Pine St. Turn right on Sansome St. Take Sansome to Pacific, go left on Pacific
  • The restaurant is on the right-hand side between Grant and Stockton

From the South Bay

  • Take 280 to the 6th St. Exit
  • Turn right on Brannan St.
  • Turn left on 3rd St
  • Cross Market onto Kearny St,
  • Turn left on Sacramento St.
  • Turn right at Grant St
  • Turn left on Pacific Ave
  • The restaurant is on the right hand side between Grant and Stockton

From Marin

  • Take the Marina exit off Golden Gate Bridge
  • Follow Marina Blvd to Bay St.
  • Continue on Bay St for about 12 blocks
  • Turn right on Stockton St. Continue for 10 blocks to Pacific Ave.
  • The restaurant is on the right hand side between Grant and Stockton

From New York

  • Go to Yonah Shimmels and get Lisa one dozen knishes
  • Go to Zabar's and get her anything

  • Get off at Powell or Montgomery BART Station. Take Muni bus # 30 or 45 from 3rd/Market/Kearny and get off at Pacific & Stockton.

  • From 5th & Market: Take Powell/Market cable car to Pacific & Mason, walk 2 blocks
  • From 5th & Market: Take Powell/Hyde cable car to Jackson & Powell, walk 2 blocks

MUNI bus

  • From 3rd & Market: Take bus # 15 to Pacific & Grant
  • From 3rd & Market: Take bus # 30 or 45 to Pacific & Stockton
  • From Main & Market: Take bus #41 to Pacific & Grant(runs until 7:15pm on weekdays; doesn't run on weekends)
  • From Fremont & Market: Take bus #12 to Pacific & Grant
  • Also accessible by bus #1 (a 3-block walk from Stockton & Clay)
