Andy Kindler is most recognized for his recurring role of Andy on Everybody Loves Raymond and for being a frequent guest and correspondent for The Late Show with David Letterman.
Each summer at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, Andy delivers the State of the Industry address to a packed ballroom filled with comics and Hollywood industry types. He is infamous for his scathing attacks on the world of entertainment, including the previously taboo practice of making fun of his fellow comedians. Just as the comedy boom of the nineties was imploding, Andy wrote the Hack’s Handbook for National Lampoon. This how-to guide satirized and exposed tired comedy formulas.
Andy can currently be seen in a new stand up special running on Comedy Central. Other noteworthy credits include the HBO Young Comedians Special, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, The Daily Show, Dr. Katz Professional Therapist, Home Movies, and The Larry Sanders Show.
Originally from New York, and now complaining from California, Andy annoys people all over the world.

Aundre the Wonderwoman is a comic whose reputation as a political satirist continues to grow. A Bay Area favorite, she has been honored as Oakland’s Funniest Comic on the Strip, the Funniest Woman in Half Moon Bay, Winner of the First Annual Russian River Comedy Competition, and as a Semi-Finalist in the 2005 San Francisco International Comedy Competition. For the past three years, Aundre has been selected to perform at San Francisco’s annual Comedy Day in Golden Gate Park, a long-running free comedy show honoring local comedy fans and featuring the Bay Area’s top comedy performers. Known for her poignant, clever and laugh-out-loud observations on everything from politics to animal lovers, this anti-death penalty advocate by day/comic by night is a comic to watch.
Elender Wall and Bryant Kong are a classically trained duo that has received international attention and acclaim for The Poetry of Donald Rumsfeld, a set of songs for voice and piano. The unusual and timely new work features lyrics that are direct quotations from the former Secretary’s Pentagon briefings and interviews, set to original music composed by Mr. Kong. The texts were previously arranged into poems by columnist Hart Seely and published in a popular book, Pieces of Intelligence, by Simon & Schuster in 2003.
The humorous new songs–which are also serious classical music–were released on CD in 2004 on the artists’ debut album, The Poetry of Donald Rumsfeld and Other Fresh American Art Songs, by new classical label Stuffed Penguin Music. A concert tour, Weapons of Mass Distraction, followed.
Ms. Wall and Mr. Kong have been featured by The Associated Press, CNN, NPR, The San Francisco Chronicle, and television, radio, and print worldwide including the BBC. They have appeared live on television and radio nationally.
The duo has been invited to give concerts at music series such as the Berkeley Arts Festival and the Noe Valley Music Series in San Francisco, and at various colleges and universities. They have performed at benefits for a number of non profit and political organizations and are known for taking classical music where it doesn’t often go.
Tissa Hami is one of the world’s few female Muslim stand up comics. Her unique act and fresh perspective on life as an Iranian-American woman leave audiences in shock and awe. From Islamic fundamentalists to white liberals to good old-fashioned racists, no one is safe from her sharp wit. Tissa hopes her comedy will help break down stereotypes about Muslim women and foster understanding between Iranians and Americans. People who disapprove of her act will be taken hostage.
Tissa was born in Iran and grew up in a traditional Iranian family in a predominantly white suburb of Boston. She holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in International Affairs from Ivy League universities (BA from Brown and Master’s from Columbia). Her parents are thrilled that she is using her expensive education to pursue a career in comedy.
Tissa has been featured in the Boston Globe Sunday Magazine and Washington Post, as well as on BBC radio and Australian and Norwegian television. Her radio interview on Commonwealth Journal was awarded first place in the Public Affairs category for 2004 by the Associated Press of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. She is one of five comedians featured in the upcoming documentary, Stand Up: Muslim American Comics Come of Age, which will air on PBS in early 2008.
She recently moved to San Francisco from Boston.
Lisa Geduldig is a San Francisco-based stand up comic and comedy producer. She is the creator, producer, and MC of a variety of annual comedy shows–Kung Pao Kosher Comedy: Jewish Comedy on Christmas in a Chinese Restaurant (now in its 15th year); and The George Bush Going Away Party; Funny Girlz: A Smorgasbord of Women Comedians (entering into its 10th year); and this September – A Muslim, A Mormon, and A Jew Walk into A Bar: The Comedy of Religion. Two years ago, Lisa branched out into the world of music and produced the sold out Charo and Her Las Vegas Show at San Francisco’s Herbst Theatre. Lisa is also a bilingual (Spanish/English, not Yiddish/English) freelance arts publicist.
